Who We Are
Originally formed as The Gear Shifters in 2013 to give riders peace of mind by offering UK wide hire of the brilliant BikeBox Alan bikeboxes.
The idea first came about when we wanted to hire a couple of bike boxes for a trip to Italy in August 2013 and there were no boxes available in our area. So we ordered 10 boxes from BikeBox Alan and The Gear Shifters were born.
We have 10 BikeBoxAlan boxes for hire. Our bike box hire services are based on keeping it simple and providing a flexible service for the folks hiring boxes from us. Our bike box hire customers will tell you we are as flexible as possible to make things easy for them.
After considering a bike transfer service for a couple of years and being asked by an increasing number of our existing customers, we decided in the winter of 2019 to expand our great services to include event bike transfers.
So in 2019 and sticking to the ethos of great service provided by The Gear Shifters, Swim Bike Run 24/7 was born. SBR247 will also bring you some great content to help feed your appetite for Tri and cycling activities.
